Ease of installation - the same. Both Steve's and mine are cut to fit the OEM mounting location. I used to have problems with properly locating the mounting holes (they were off on some boots a few months ago) but that problem is long gone. It's an hour's work in both cases. Cost - my boots are $50 shipped. Steve's are $85 (I believe) and up, depending on color of leather and color of thread. I'm comparing leather vs leather. Steve has vinyl boots also which are $60 or something. Note: I only provide black leather and, in some cases, white. With me you can choose thread colors at no extra charge though. But if you're looking for different color leather than black or white, please talk to Steve. Quality of material - I use top grade Italian leather. Steve uses Connolly leather, which is also top grade and also Italian, but it has a brand name. Mine doesn't. Material wise they are very comparable in my opinon. The lack of brand name on my leather accounts for much lower cost though. Problems and issues - we both try VERY hard to satisfy every customer. I have no problems doing that because of the size of my business, roughly 5 sets a week. Steve, because he is doing so much more (leather trim kits, t-top bags, etc.) sometimes gets caught up in too much stuff to handle, so he may keep you waiting sometimes. But he comes through in the end, except that it may take a lot of time in some cases. I know Steve is working very hard on improving this and I'm sure he'll get better quickly. Well, this is what I believe to be a fair comparison, although Steve may disagree... :) I know that in both cases you are dealing with people who runs this business seriously and work hard to make everyone happy. And I know in both cases you will like what you will receive. Any comments, Steve?
